Community and Town

“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” — Henry Ford

At YCC, we believe that the best way to make an impact on our community is working with each other. We have — and continue — to partner with a number of organizations in town. These partnerships have helped us provide services, presentations, and raise awareness of youth mental health.

Our current/past partners include:

  • Town of Lexington Human Services Department

  • ABCL (Association of Black Citizens of Lexington)

  • CAAL (Chinese American Association of Lexington)

  • IAL (Indian Americans of Lexington)

  • JPLex (Japanese Support Group of Lexington)

  • KoLex (Korean American Association of Lexington)

  • Lexington Human Rights Committee

  • LICA (Lexington Interfaith Clergy Association)

  • LexPride (advancing equality and community for LGBTQIA+ people and their families and allies in Lexington)

  • Lexington SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council)

  • Cary Library

  • Colonial Times

  • Lexington Neighbor Brigade

  • LexRap (Lexington Refugee Assistance Program)

In addition to these trusted town and community partners, YCC also receives client referrals from local pediatricians, religious youth leaders, student-to-student relationships, and the William James Interface.
