Community and Town
“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” — Henry Ford
At YCC, we believe that the best way to make an impact on our community is working with each other. We have — and continue — to partner with a number of organizations in town. These partnerships have helped us provide services, presentations, and raise awareness of youth mental health.
Our current/past partners include:
Town of Lexington Human Services Department
ABCL (Association of Black Citizens of Lexington)
CAAL (Chinese American Association of Lexington)
IAL (Indian Americans of Lexington)
JPLex (Japanese Support Group of Lexington)
KoLex (Korean American Association of Lexington)
Lexington Human Rights Committee
LICA (Lexington Interfaith Clergy Association)
LexPride (advancing equality and community for LGBTQIA+ people and their families and allies in Lexington)
Lexington SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council)
Cary Library
Colonial Times
Lexington Neighbor Brigade
LexRap (Lexington Refugee Assistance Program)
In addition to these trusted town and community partners, YCC also receives client referrals from local pediatricians, religious youth leaders, student-to-student relationships, and the William James Interface.
