Emily Hayes, LMHC, ATR-BC
Executive Director
Emily joined the YCC team as the new Executive Director in the fall of 2019. Emily received her Master's in Art Therapy from Florida State University.
She is a Board Certified Art Therapist as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
Emily has over six years of experience working with youth and their families. She has specialized training working with trauma, family attachment, adoption, Depression, Anxiety, and suicide/self-harm. Emily is a strong advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Harper Berriman
Clinical Counselor
He has a bachelor's degree in counseling with minors in psychology and social work and is in his final year of a master's program at William James College for his degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Harper takes a holistic approach to counseling and is passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy.
In his free time, Harper loves to spend time outside with his dogs, hiking, and searching for new succulents to add to his growing collection.
Anya Shire-Plumb
Clinical Intern
Anya is a clinical intern at YCC. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology and studio art, and is in her final year of a master's program at William James College for her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Anya is in the Global Mental Health Concentration at William James, and is passionate about cultural competency and self-love.
In Anya's spare time, she loves to paint and spend time with friends and family.
Alicia Patenaude
Clinical Intern
Alicia is a clinical intern at YCC. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy with minors in psychology and dance. She is in her final year of the Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy Master’s Program at Lesley University.
She worked previously in a college setting and there counseled clients experiencing grief, homesickness, anxiety, addiction and adjustment disorders in addition to other social, emotional, and academic-related stresses. Alicia takes an expressive and client-centered approach to counseling.
In Alicia’s free time, she loves painting, performing, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones including her cats Beesley and Boots.
